Summary
The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager. Key responsibilities include assisting with food and beverage service, managing and supporting the team, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Key Duties: Assist in food and beverage service, manage, motivate, and support the team, optimize sales and profit, ensure guest requests are handled efficiently.
- Requirements: At least two/three years experience in a similar role, in a high-end/luxury hotel setting.

Salary - £26,000 per Annum
The successful candidate will have a strong background in a food and beverage environment to help drive our food and beverage offering. You will need to be able to support the Restaurant Manager in delivery a ‘blow your socks-off’ hospitality experience.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support in managing our two restaurants - The Gallery and The Brasserie, along with the lounge area and garden which are both perfect settings for an English afternoon tea.
We would require atleast two / three years previous experience in a similar role, high end/luxury hotel setting with events/function.
Key Duties of an Assistant Restaurant Manager include:
- To assist the restaurant manager in the running of food and beverage services. To manage, motivate and support the team, optimising all opportunities to increase food and liquor sales and profit
- Encourage team members to increase sales by ensuring that they know how to add on sales and that they have up-to-date product knowledge
- Ensure that guest and customer requests are always responded to courteously and efficiently.
- Monitor and evaluate complaints and take preventive/corrective action or make recommendations to improve the situation.
