Summary
The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa is seeking a driven and motivated Chef De Rang to provide first-class wine service, offer wine selection advice, and assist the restaurant team. The role requires in-depth wine knowledge, the ability to manage the cellar, and flexibility to support all aspects of restaurant operations. A minimum of 5 years of fine dining experience is required.

Main responsibilities for a Chef De Rang
- We are looking for a driven, motivated Sommelier with in-depth wine knowledge, to provide a first-class wine service and to offer guests advice on the selection of wines.
- You will have full command during the other Sommelier's days off and will be able to assist on the wine ordering and cellar management.
- Flexibility is expected in assisting and supporting the restaurant team with the service of food, afternoon tea, mise-en-place of the restaurant, functions etc.
- You need to have a strong command of English.
- The position is full time, working 5 days a week, mostly split shifts with some straight shifts.
- This role however would require a minimum of 5 years experience working in a fine dining establishment.
