CareGiver / Care Assistant - Weekends

We're seeking a fabulous, friendly, reliable Care Assistant (with car) to work as follows:

Saturdays and Sundays (9am - 3pm)

Our clients are based in the Earley, Woodley, Twyford and Wokingham areas.

Additional calls are available throughout the week / weekend if you would like to work more hours.

What we offer our Care Assistants:

• Premium hourly rates starting from £14.05 per hour (Monday-Friday days) and £160.20 per hour evenings and weekends.
• Bank Holiday Pay starting from £21.08 to £28.10 per hour.

Right at Home Reading & Wokingham District supports clients all over the local area, including:

Wokingham, Woodley, Sonning, Winnersh, Shinfield, Earley & Lower Earley, and Twyford areas of Berkshire.

Duties will include:

• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
• Personal care
• Administering medication
• Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
• Shopping
• Housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Taking Clients for appointments or outings
• Making a positive difference to their quality of life and well-being every visit.

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

• Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle
• Have a genuine passion to want to help others
• Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Be available for early mornings or evenings and alternate weekends (preferred)

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer or Heath Care Assistant we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail, hospitality, hairdressers/ beauticians, covid testers, cleaners. This could be the start of your new career, with our full support and outstanding training, anything is possible if you put your head and heart into it.
