Summary
Right at Home Worthing & Shoreham District is seeking a Care Assistant to support vulnerable adults in their homes. The role offers competitive pay, training, and flexible hours. Responsibilities include personal care, medication administration, housekeeping, and accompanying clients. No experience is required; full training is provided. Applicants must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle and live within 7 miles of Worthing.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Encouraging and supporting clients to live fulfilling lives
- Personal care, washing, and dressing assistance
- Medication administration
- Housekeeping, meal preparation & shopping
- Accompanying clients to appointments & social outings
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- A full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Willingness to attend a 4-day training course
- Residing within a 7-mile radius of Worthing
- Business vehicle insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work alternate weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Flexible to work either 7 AM – 2 PM or 2 PM – 10 PM shifts

What We’re Looking For:
