Summary

As a Residential Support Worker at Aston, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for children and young people with learning disabilities. You will work closely with residents, providing care, support, and encouragement in a warm and welcoming home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering individualised care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Encouraging and facilitating the development of life skills and independence among residents.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean-living environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the care team to implement and monitor individual care plans.
  • Assisting young people in accessing educational opportunities and supporting their learning and development.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive and respectful relationships with children, their families, and external professionals.
  • Keeping accurate records and recording any incidents, following company policies.
