    Job Overview

    The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of our solutions by working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for gathering, analysing, and translating business requirements into technical specifications and detailed, user-centric user stories that are written from the user's perspective and can be easily understood and implemented by development teams. The Business Analyst collaborates extensively with internal teams, such as Product team, Development, QA, and Support, to ensure that product improvements align with market needs and client expectations. 

    - Externally, the Business Analyst leads client implementations, facilitates workshops, and provides post-implementation training to ensure effective adoption of the product. The role also involves working with clients and prospects to gather feedback, identify enhancements, and define configuration profiles to optimise the product’s value.

    Additionally, the Business Analyst is involved in supporting the validation and testing of client-reported issues and enhancements, ensuring that solutions meet defined criteria before release. By staying informed on industry trends and innovations, and leveraging insights from real-world client scenarios, the Business Analyst contributes to the creation of industry-relevant content and helps shape the product roadmap, ensuring the platform remains both innovative and aligned with market demands. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration  

    - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with client and product goals

    - Utilise stakeholder feedback to inform backlog prioritisation and support the refinement of requirements for new features.

    Documentation & User Stories 

    - Create clear, concise user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that accurately reflect business needs and can be easily implemented by the development team.

    - Maintain and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring it remains current and accurate.

    Sprint Support & Progress Tracking 

    - Support sprint planning by ensuring that user stories and requirements are well-defined.

    - Monitor sprint progress and provide updates to stakeholders, striving for a high completion rate of planned items.

    - Report on sprint outcomes and contribute to retrospective discussions to drive continuous improvement.

    Triage and Prioritise Issues 

    - Effectively manage and prioritise issues raised by clients and internal teams to ensure critical problems are addressed in a timely manner.

    - Communicate prioritisation decisions clearly to stakeholders.

    Product Standards & Methodology 

    - Help maintain and enforce product standards and delivery methodologies, ensuring that user stories, issues, and estimations follow established guidelines.

    Client Support & Implementation Assistance 

    - Assist in client delivery and implementation by participating in workshops, preparing documentation, and addressing client inquiries throughout the implementation process.

    - Provide configuration support during implementations, ensuring that the solution meets client-specific needs.

    Continuous Learning & Industry Awareness 

    - Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to provide relevant insights.

    - Actively seek opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.

    - Other activities as required from time to time to support the goals of the company and targets set

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    - Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on software implementation or in the insurance/technology sectors.

    - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    - Experience in translating business needs into technical specifications.

    - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially in creating Epics and User Stories.

    - Experience in client interaction and stakeholder management.

    - Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    - Ability to work cross-functionally with development, QA, and support teams.

    - Experience in the insurance industry is desirable but not mandatory.

    Preferred Skills

    - Proficiency in SQL for querying and analysing data to support requirements gathering and troubleshooting.

    - Experience using DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) for managing user stories, tracking issues, and supporting sprint planning.

    - Familiarity with Miro or similar collaborative tools for creating process maps, workflows, and facilitating virtual workshops.

    - Understanding of software development lifecycles and technical requirements to communicate effectively with development teams.
