Summary
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Plc is seeking an experienced Design Manager to work with project teams, ensuring design coordination and compliance. The role involves managing design and build contracts, achieving necessary approvals, and meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will be part of a growing business and report directly to the Senior Design Manager.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a polite, friendly and professional attitude, who will enjoy the team spirit and be passionate about getting things right first time, despite challenges and obstacles that may occur. With exposure to a fast-paced, vibrant working environment, this role will be both challenging and rewarding.
You will have demonstrable experience in ‘cut and carve’ projects.
The Company
The [Employer hidden] Group is based in Chatham, Kent with a London office ideally situated by London Bridge. The majority of our construction projects are concentrated in or around Central London.
The Group undertakes a wide range of commercial construction projects for prestigious clients, the main elements consisting of :
- New build RC and steel frame developments, from groundworks, to completed projects
- Large-scale demolition, and subsequent refurbishments
- Rooftop extensions
- High-end interior fit out to Cat A & B standards
The Job
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager who will be working alongside the project teams in ensuring the design is fully coordinated and complies with [Employer hidden]’s requirements and current legislation. With proven experience of working within Design and Build contracts, you will be responsible for achieving the necessary design and technical approvals through workshops and subsequent formal Document Management processes, enabling deadlines to be met in line with agreed programmes.
