Summary

The D365 Architect will plan, design and deliver solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, focusing on Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing. They will lead projects, from pre-sales to operational handover, providing technical leadership and mentoring, and ensuring technical readiness, scalability, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include architecting and designing D365 solutions, integrations using Azure services, and leading technical discussions.

  • Architecting and designing scalable and secure D365 CRM solutions (Sales, Service, Marketing and Power Platform) aligned to client requirements.
  • Designing and implementing D365 integrations using Azure services.
  • Researching, evaluating, designing and implementing AI-powered D365 solutions.
  • Building New Model-driven Apps by Customisation of Dynamics alongside Development of Plugins and Power Automate.
  • Ownership of the architecture of the Client Solution across Dynamics, M365 and Azure Services – with awareness of data and security implications and using multiple environments / tenants for the solution.
  • Defining appropriate standards and principles and conducting solution and code reviews
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to team members
  • Responsible for the technical readiness, scalability, & quality assurance of final deliverables ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Effectively translating and accurately communicating across technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as facilitating workshops, requirements gathering and discussions within a multidisciplinary team
  • Configuring and customising Dynamics CRM forms, views, dashboards, and entities to meet the client needs.

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dynamics 365 Architect to join our growing D365 team. The D365 Architect is responsible for planning, designing and delivering elegant and secure solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform, with a focus on D365 Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing. The D365 Architect engages in the full project lifecycle from presales through to operational handover and is accountable for the technical leadership and delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Architecting and designing scalable and secure D365 CRM solutions (Sales, Service, Marketing and Power Platform) aligned to client requirements.
  • Designing and implementing D365 integrations using Azure services.

About you

- Strong experience with D365 and the Power Platform across customisation, configuration and development. - Proven track record of leading and designing large scale D365 Solutions using D365, the Power Platform (Automate, Dataverse, BI) and Azure Services (App Services and Functions) - Experience designing Custom Business Logic across ‘pro-code’ Plugins, low-code Workflows and no-code functionality (Calculated and Roll-up Fields) - with knowledge of when to use the right tool for the requirement. - Experience  integrating Dynamics CRM with external systems and third-party applications (e.g., REST, SOAP, Azure Services). - Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, translate business needs and analyse complex requirements to design and architect complex, scaleable and secure D365 solutions. - Strong experience in creation of technical documentation, estimating, planning and presales activities. - Passion for AI and experience with the AI Freatues of D365 (and AI Builder tools and components - Knowledge and understanding of solution architecture design patterns and security best practices within D365 and Azure - Familiar with ALM best practices, including source control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps), automated deployments, release pipelines, and environment management. - Strong peer and senior stakeholder management skills (including engagement with exec level sponsors) - Adaptable and able to deliver quality across multiple projects at any one time

Knowledge and experience of the following would be advantageous: 

- Knowledge of D365 Finance and Operations and Business Central - AI and automation capabilities within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform - Previous experience in a consultancy or client-facing role - Designing, Planning and execution of migrations to D365 whilst ensuring data integrity.
