Summary
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a casual Stadium Tour Guide to provide engaging and informative tours of Portman Road. This role involves greeting guests, sharing knowledge about the club, and ensuring a positive experience. Candidates should possess strong communication, public speaking, and customer service skills, with a passion for Ipswich Town FC.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ensure all areas in the stadium on the tour route are checked and ready to welcome guests.
- Greet guests as they enter Portman Road and scan their tickets.
- Be comfortable and confident talking to groups of 30 or more guests.
- Giving the tour to our guests at a range of destinations around Portman Road.
- Ensure Guest Safety throughout their stay on site.
- Comply with Club policies.
- Comply with health and safety procedures.

- Ability to adapt (sometimes during the tour or at the last minute)

Purpose/overview of the role:
[Employer hidden] are currently looking for a casual Stadium Tour Guide here at Portman Road.
This will be to give guests an unforgettable tour of Portman Road adding in humour, great customer service, and your knowledge of the football club to make every tour unique and to create an immersive, entertaining and informative experience.
Your main duties will be to:
- Ensure all areas in the stadium on the tour route are checked and ready to welcome guests.
- Greet guests as they enter Portman Road and scan their tickets.
- Be comfortable and confident talking to groups of 30 or more guests.
- Giving the tour to our guests at a range of destinations around Portman Road.
- Ensure Guest Safety throughout their stay on site.
- Comply with Club policies.
- Comply with health and safety procedures.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for everything [Employer hidden], a good level of knowledge of the history past and present of the club and of football in general. An individual who is confident to talk in front of large groups while happy talking one on one with guests from time to time. An individual who has good communication public speaking and storytelling skills. A background in customer services is desired but not essential.

Working Hours:
Stadium Tours take place at Portman Road at various times, the ideal candidate will be available to work Evenings, Weekends and, on occasion, during the Working Day.
Note that Stadium Tours will not take place on match day weekends or midweek when a match has been played ta Portman Road.

DBS check is required for this role.
