Summary
Ipswich Town Foundation is seeking enthusiastic Volunteer/Mentors for their Premier League Kicks programme. The role involves delivering enjoyable football sessions, providing guidance to participants on topics like education and employment, and working across various locations in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work with young people, and keen to develop their coaching skills.
- Maintain a flexible approach to provide high levels of engagement on the Kicks programme.
- Good role model to young people whilst representing Ipswich Town Foundation and informing participants of other opportunities within the Foundation.
- Support the planning and delivery of the Premier League Kicks sessions.
- Proactively engage participants in informal education activities, youth social action and youth voice projects as well as engaging with parents, partners and facility staff.
- Adhere to Ipswich Town Foundation policies and procedures.

ROLE OVERVIEW
Ipswich Town Foundation is currently looking to recruit a Volunteer/Mentor working on our Premier League Kicks programme.
This is a volunteering role requiring flexibility working across various programmes of Ipswich Town Foundation including but not limited to:
Monday – Boxing, Murrayside 4:30-6pm
Tuesday – Ipswich Academy, 4pm-6pm
Wednesday – Chantry Academy, 4pm-6pm
Thursday –Westbourne Academy, 5pm-7pm
Friday – Portman Road, 5:30pm-7.30pm
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Premier League Kicks coaches to deliver structured and enjoyable football sessions which are inclusive and allow participants to reach their potential. The Premier League Kicks coaches will also provide information, advice and guidance to participants on matters such as diversion from youth anti-social behaviour and crime, education and employment in a mentoring capacity in Kicks sessions across Suffolk. There is also the potential to work in formal projects such as schools, colleges and health settings.
The volunteer/mentor will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional, who is flexible, and has an ability to recognise new opportunities and develop existing relationships to deliver. The successful candidate will support and develop all players within the group to attain the highest levels of performance possible in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. We are looking for an individual who is keen to develop as a coach and join a coaching team that fosters a supportive and open to learning environment.

VOLUNTEER/MENTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to communicate with young people and parents effectively.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Able to manage large groups effectively and safely.
• FA Introduction to First Aid in Football accreditation.
• FA Safeguarding Children Course accreditation
• Hold Full driving licence
• Maintain a high standard of work
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to encourage, motivate and enthuse participants to engage and participate in activities
IPSWICH TOWN FOUNDATION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adhere to all policies and procedures including safeguarding, Health & Safety, Behaviour Management, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, and Quality Assurance and follow all policies and procedures within the staff handbook.
• To follow and work by all procedures in accordance with the Ipswich Town Foundation.
• To maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• To report to Line Manager and attend Ipswich Town Foundation staff meetings when requested.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by Senior Leadership Team

Willingness to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends (if required).
