Summary

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is a domiciliary care company that supports disabled adults in their own homes across Surrey. They are looking to add to their team of support worker/carers.

Key Responsibilities/Duties: Assisting individuals to access the community, engage in activities, appointments and socialising, Light housework, personal care (optional), paperwork and much more.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: Full time hours – 37.5 hours per week, Driving Licence, Business Insurance (Car)

What we do:

We provide longer visits to support people within their own homes. We are a friendly face and a caring hand to those that we support.

The individuals that we support are between the ages of 18-65 and diagnosed with autism, learning disability, mental health, physical health condition or any combination of the four.

Job spec:

As a support worker/carer you will be working as part of a team as well as lone working. Our aim is for you to provide person centred care that enables the individual to remain living as independently as possible.

Responsibilities:

Assisting individuals to access the community, engage in activities, appointments and socialising, Light housework, personal care (optional), paperwork and much more.

Requirements:

  • Full time hours – 37.5 hours per week (Guaranteed 37.5 hours face to face time – travel time not included)
  • Fixed monthly salary (will increase if overtime is undertaken)
  • 28 days holiday per year (bank holidays not automatically counted as leave) (annual leave pay no longer accrued as annual leave days off will be paid)
  • Overtime does not provide additional AL or AL pay
  • We will keep you within a maximum 20 miles of your home address (as the crow flies) (we will try to keep you as local as practically possible)
  • 1 weekend day may be mandatory where required (substituted for a day in the week)
  • Your hours will be spread over a maximum of 5 days
  • All hours will be between 9am & 7pm
  • You may not refuse work (we will work with you to ensure that you are happy in your role)
