Maintenance Assistant/Driver

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• General maintenance around the home, including preventative work.
• Work in grounds and patios when required.
• Conducting safety checks, including weekly fire alarm checks
• Driving duties, as and when required
• Transport of visitors to & from the home.
• Transport residents to hospital or clinic appointments, outings and to and from the home for admission/discharge
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles

Qualities and skills required:

• General maintenance experience, including joinery and plumbing
• Full clean driving licence with the ability to drive minibuses (16 seater) CATD1
• Punctuality with a smart appearance, and a responsible attitude.
• Someone who is courteous and caring towards residents and families
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
• The ability to work as a member of the team.
