Summary
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant/Driver to support the care of their residents. Responsibilities include general maintenance, driving duties, and transporting residents and visitors. The role requires general maintenance experience, a full clean driving license (including minibuses), and a caring attitude. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance around the home, including preventative work.
- Work in grounds and patios when required.
- Conducting safety checks, including weekly fire alarm checks
- Driving duties, as and when required
- Transport of visitors to & from the home.
- Transport residents to hospital or clinic appointments, outings and to and from the home for admission/discharge
- Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
Core Requirements
- General maintenance experience, including joinery and plumbing
- Full clean driving licence with the ability to drive minibuses (16 seater) CATD1
- Punctuality with a smart appearance, and a responsible attitude.
- Someone who is courteous and caring towards residents and families
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
- The ability to work as a member of the team.
