Summary

DSA are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team. The role offers opportunities for career progression and training to become a Chartered Engineer. The role involves working on various civil projects, utilizing design software, preparing technical documentation, and conducting site visits. Candidates should have a civil engineering degree, be skilled in relevant software, and possess a strong understanding of engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the whole team, including senior team members on various civil projects
  • Assist in the preparation of technical design and drawings utilising Revit/Tekla/ Flow/PDS/ Site 3D design software
  • Independently prepare technical documentation and report on progress – be the document controller of incoming and outgoing deliverables
  • Gain exposure to CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations and Building Safety Act, to help develop H&S and CDM documentation
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, team meetings to assess project requirements and progress
  • Work with project teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery, in line with best practices

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • At least a 2:1 in Civil/Structural Engineering degree (or similar)
  • Skilled user of AutoCAD/Revit/Flow/PDS/Site 3D
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
  • Be enthusiastic and committed, with a genuine interest in civil engineering
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge or interest in CDM regulations and health and safety in construction
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
