Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Conducting innovative research in computer vision to develop new algorithms and techniques
- Developing and testing models for object detection, segmentation, image recognition, and 3D vision
- Collaborating with academic and industry partners on research projects and publications
- Implementing machine learning algorithms and neural networks for visual data analysis
- Working with large datasets, enhancing model performance, and optimizing for real-time applications
- Contributing to the advancement of the field by publishing research and collaborating in the research community
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience in computer vision research, deep learning, or related fields
- Expertise in algorithms for visual data analysis, object recognition, and image processing
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages, along with familiarity with libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- A deep understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and computer vision frameworks
- Ability to design and conduct experiments, and present findings clearly in academic or industry settings
- MSc or PhD in Computer Vision, AI, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
