Summary
Configure and implement SAP PPDS solutions to optimize production planning and scheduling processes. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to gather requirements, develop functionalities, monitor performance, and provide training and issue resolution. The role also includes staying updated on industry trends and supporting system upgrades. This contract role offers a salary between £45,000 and £70,000 GBP per year.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Configure and implement SAP PPDS solutions to optimize production planning and scheduling processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to gather requirements for production planning and capacity management
- Develop and maintain functionalities for detailed scheduling, demand planning, and material requirements planning (MRP)
- Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Conduct training sessions for end users on SAP PPDS functionalities and best practices
- Analyze and resolve issues related to production planning and scheduling for end users and stakeholders
- Stay updated on SAP PPDS advancements and industry trends to recommend best practices
- Support system upgrades and enhancements related to SAP PPDS solutions
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in production planning and scheduling processes
- Provide expert guidance on SAP PPDS strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce lead times
