Summary

Develop and implement ethical frameworks for AI/ML projects. Conduct ethical reviews, identify and mitigate biases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ethical guidelines. Provide expert advice on privacy, transparency, and human rights in AI, while staying current with AI regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Developing and implementing ethical frameworks for AI/ML projects
  • Conducting ethical reviews of AI algorithms, models, and datasets
  • Identifying and mitigating potential biases, fairness issues, and risks in AI systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ethical guidelines
  • Providing expert advice on privacy, transparency, accountability, and human rights in AI
  • Keeping up with AI regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure AI integrity

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, data privacy laws, and ethical considerations in AI
  • Ability to apply ethical theory and principles to real-world AI applications
  • Experience with AI governance frameworks and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, IEEE, ISO)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for ethical AI practices across teams
  • Degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, Ethics, or related field (advanced qualifications are a plus)
