Summary

We are seeking a UX Designer to join [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. The role involves conducting user research, designing user flows and prototypes, collaborating with stakeholders, iterating on designs based on feedback, ensuring a consistent design system, and applying best practices in accessibility and usability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, strong understanding of user-centered design, proficiency in design tools, experience with prototyping, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Conducting user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of target audiences
  • Designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions align with business objectives
  • Iterating designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics
  • Ensuring a consistent and cohesive design system across all digital platforms
  • Applying best practices in accessibility and usability to ensure an inclusive user experience
  • Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your design process and final products
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and usability
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
  • Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools (e.g., InVision, Axure, Marvel)
  • Knowledge of front-end development and an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • A degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications in UX/UI design or related areas are a plus
