FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Deployment Specialist will execute software deployments, create deployment scripts, troubleshoot deployment issues, and collaborate with teams for resolutions.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Executing software deployments across development, staging, and production environments
  • Creating and maintaining deployment scripts, runbooks, and documentation
  • Troubleshooting deployment issues and working closely with development and operations teams for resolutions
  • Monitoring deployment pipelines and ensuring rollback procedures are in place
  • Collaborating with QA and DevOps to validate builds and releases pre- and post-deployment

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in software deployment, system configuration, and release automation
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with a proactive mindset
