Summary
As a Technical Software Project Manager at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] you will be working with world-class organisations across industries such as electronics, finance, medical and automotive. You’ll have a leading SDLC role in ensuring projects are managed from bid, through to successful completion, within the agreed budget and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Supporting the sales process, through managing the engineering and project delivery input for technical software bids
- Managing the delivery of multiple simultaneous customer projects, often highly complex technical software projects, both client facing and internal investments
- Being a proactive member of account management teams with a view to maintaining/ increasing sales within a client account
- Collaborating with [Employer hidden] colleagues, to nurture and effectively manage client relationships
- Building effective project teams
- Management of engineers on the project
- Overall management of project scope, cost, and timeline
- Creation and management of technical project plans, risk logs, change requests and logs, dependency logs, etc
- Working closely with the technical teams and leads
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- At least 2 years experience in software project management
- A good knowledge of SDLC and vast experience on relevant methodologies
- The ability to demonstrate both willingness and ability to grasp new technical concepts
- A sociable and confident individual, a self starter, capable of dealing with pressure, uncertainty and deadlines associated with software consultancy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
