Everyone in Edenmore Nursing Home plays an important role, supporting each other and coming together to create a one team approach.

As a Domestic Assistant, your responsibility is to maintain a safe, hygienic and well-presented home. This role is varied and will include responsibilities like keeping bedrooms tidy, wardrobes and clothes crease free, dusting, keeping the floor squeaky clean and carpets fresh, attending to the bathrooms to make sure they are sparkling and have plenty of toiletries in them.

The home offers an ever-continuing support network which starts here at application stage where we talk you through what to expect and what you will be doing when working in a care home as a Domestic Assistant. The two-week induction, buddy & mentoring system, fun continuous online & classroom training and a 24/7 welfare support team – are here to support you; you really are never alone when working at Edenmore Nursing Home.
