Summary

Proteus is seeking an experienced SaaS sales expert to join their dynamic team as a Sales Director. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, driving the full sales cycle, building client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise SaaS sales, experience meeting sales quotas, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

    Key Responsibilities/Duties

    • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within targeted markets.
    • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Build strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their pain points, and presenting tailored solutions.
    • Collaborate with marketing, customer success and development teams to provide customer feedback and contribute to product development.
    • Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline using HubSpot.

    Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

    • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of proven success in SaaS enterprise sales with a strong understanding of the SaaS market.
    • Track Record: Demonstrable experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas. An understanding of engineering project lifecycles would be an advantage.
    • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Mindset: Results-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
    • Team Player: Ability to collaborate across teams remotely and contribute to a supportive company culture.
