Summary
Doc Abode is seeking junior and mid-level Software Engineers to join their growing team. The role involves working with a modern tech stack in an agile environment to build solutions for NHS patients. The position is remote-first with flexible working hours, but occasional in-office and client-site meetings are expected. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting usable and accessible user interfaces and a desire to work on software that makes a difference in people's lives.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- Have experience developing front-end interfaces, especially using React
- Have experience developing mobile applications, especially using React Native
- Have experience developing back-end JavaScript/Typescript applications in Node.js
- Are familiar with AWS and/or serverless architecture (specifically AWS / Terraform : S3, API Gateway, IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, Cognito)

Salary range (dependent on experience): £25,000-£40,000
You will:

- Love writing tests and taking a test-driven approach to development
- Like to ship code that is simple, readable and performant
- Take responsibility for ensuring your code works in the real world
- Are self-motivated and results-driven
- Want to bring your individuality, experience and qualities to the team whilst being keen to learn and improve
You must have one or more of the following capabilities:
- Have experience developing front-end interfaces, especially using React
- Have experience developing mobile applications, especially using React Native
- Have experience developing back-end JavaScript/Typescript applications in Node.js
- Are familiar with AWS and/or serverless architecture (specifically AWS / Terraform : S3, API Gateway, IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, Cognito)
Bonus points:
- Experience working with NHS Digital APIs
- Confident in building Business Intelligence and Reporting suites
- Have experience integrating with Electronic Patient Records and other health software
- Have previously worked in a highly regulated industry (cyber security and data protection are important to us in healthcare)
