Summary

An opportunity to join a small, independent consultancy who undertake a range of professional and project building surveying work. The role involves assisting in delivering building surveying services, preparing specifications, and contributing to project management.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist in delivering a range of building surveying services, including surveys, inspections, and defect analysis
  • Support in preparing specifications, schedules of work, and contract administration
  • Undertake building surveys, dilapidations assessments, and party wall matters
  • Contribute to project management on refurbishment and maintenance schemes

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline (essential)
  • 1-2 years plus practical experience in building surveying
  • Part-way through APC with eagerness to learn and progress towards MRICS qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing your workload effectively

Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Building Surveyor:

- Assist in delivering a range of building surveying services, including surveys, inspections, and defect analysis

- Support in preparing specifications, schedules of work, and contract administration

- Undertake building surveys, dilapidations assessments, and party wall matters

- Contribute to project management on refurbishment and maintenance schemes

Skills & Experience of the Assistant Building Surveyor:
