Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate or Project-level Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, forward-thinking property and construction consultancy delivering services across both public and private sectors. With offices in Bournemouth, Farnborough, Southampton, and London, this is a fantastic role for someone ready to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Undertake feasibility studies and cost planning
  • Perform risk and value management assessments
  • Prepare and compile tender enquiries and conduct tender analysis
  • Negotiate tenders and contracts
  • Draft and administer contracts through all stages of construction
  • Manage applications, valuations, payments, and final account negotiation
  • Produce high-quality reports for clients
  • Undertake fund monitoring, reinstatement valuations, and chair meetings

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • Suitable for Assistant QSs looking to step up, Intermediate QSs, or Project QSs
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Personable with a desire to learn and develop
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies and project processes
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
  • Degree or equivalent preferred (not essential)
