FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

We’re working with a well established consultancy that are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join within their Major Works team. The role can be based either from their Bournemouth office or Farnborough office and will be working on projects mainly in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple live projects at varying stages, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, fostering strong relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction activities align with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for new work and plan proactively for upcoming project needs.
  • Provide technical expertise in building construction methods, alongside strong management and leadership of your team.

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience in Project Management (consultancy side experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of JCT suite of contracts.
  • A strong technical understanding of building construction, combined with proven management skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, providing both technical insight and project leadership.
  • Capable of managing major works projects, leading a team to successful outcomes.
  • Comfortable travelling to sites (mainly in London)

We’re working with a well established consultancy that are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join within their Major Works team. The role can be based either from their Bournemouth office or Farnborough office and will be working on projects mainly in London.

Their current projects are predominantly fascade remedial works, ranging in value from £1m up to £20m. They have ambitious growth plans for the major works team and will be expanding into other sectors in the coming years. As part of this growth there can provide excellent opportunities from progression.
