FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

Working within the Despatch Warehouse team to manage and coordinate all aspects of logistics relevant to the movement of product and materials to and from site.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customers will be allocated to you by line leaders on a daily basis, from the customer allocation. You must prepare, check and verify stock.
  • Ensure stock is identified correctly, out of date stock must be segregated and moved to an appropriate area.
  • Report any stock issues from allocation sheet to your supervisor.
  • Palletise and locate stock when necessary in accordance with specifications.
  • Ensure stock is picked in rotation and pallets are prepared ready for despatch.
  • Use correctly and prevent damage to equipment, vehicles and machinery where applicable. Report any issues immediately to your supervisor.
  • Keep work areas tidy and clean at all times.
  • Ensure the correct handling, palletising and storage of products to company and customer requirements in a manner that does not jeopardise product quality.
  • Maximise best use of storage facilities i.e. racking, floor space, external storage, containers and loading bays.
