FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

As a Gardener at Amberley Hall Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring that the full extent of the grounds and gardens is a high-quality amenity for residents, their relatives and our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be solely responsible for the garden and grounds, overseeing all aspects of planning, purchasing, planting, and maintenance.
  • Work with the Home Manager to plan for garden improvements, ensuring the garden flourishes under your care.
  • Perform regular garden maintenance tasks, including watering, weeding, pruning, and general upkeep.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure the garden is well-watered, especially during the summer months.

Core Requirements

  • Experience working within a gardening environment is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of care homes or working with people living with dementia is advantageous.

About the role:

Reporting to the Home Manager, the Gardener is responsible for ensuring maintenance of the garden and grounds to high standard. We want a truly green fingered individual to take charge of our garden and grounds.

Salary:

£12.21 per hour.

Shift Pattern:

0 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:

Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, England, PE30 3DQ.
