Summary

- Checking the accuracy of orders received from hospitals.
- Inputting information into bespoke software programmes to create worksheets and labels for specialist medical products.
- Rectifying any errors with orders by communicating with hospitals via telephone and email.
- Checking aseptically dispensed products in accordance with defined procedures.
- Labelling and packaging finished products ready for delivery.
Applicants must have demonstrable strong numeracy skills. You must be logical and able to work systematically in a consistent way, ideally having demonstrated this ability in a fast paced working environment. In addition you will need good oral/telephone and written communication skills in English, be methodical in approach, able to demonstrate close attention to detail and concentrate for long periods of time. An appreciation of customer needs and experience of working as part of a busy team to tight deadlines without losing focus are also essential.

THE ROLE
As a *Final Checker Technician* you will work as part of a team reporting to a Unit Manager. Your work will include assisting with all aspects of the processing and in-process checks of products.
Your main duties would include:
- Checking the accuracy of orders received from hospitals.
- Inputting information into bespoke software programmes to create worksheets and labels for specialist medical products.
- Rectifying any errors with orders by communicating with hospitals via telephone and email.
- Checking aseptically dispensed products in accordance with defined procedures.
- Labelling and packaging finished products ready for delivery.
