Summary
The Strategic Account Manager will manage and grow key accounts, expanding client relationships. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, driving product adoption, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates need 10+ years experience, a strong understanding of SaaS products, and proven account management skills.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts.
- Coordinate with stakeholders within the company to ensure a united business approach.
- Understand client needs and objectives to ensure our product meets their requirements.
- Drive product adoption and usage within the client’s organization.
- Analyse client data to provide customer relationship management.
- Provide support to clients to ensure they maximize the value of our solutions.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work with the sales team to close renewal and expansion deals.
- Ability to generate opportunities from networking activity, ICP & ABM
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience, Partners, Marketing, Operations and Development teams to ensure client feedback is incorporated into product development.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, and customer feedback/usage.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage client interactions and track sales activities
- Collaborating with the existing Account Management team
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- 10+ years proven work experience as a Senior or Strategic Account Manager or relevant sales role, preferably in SaaS/Payments industry
- Proven record of managing, maintaining & growing complex accounts
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and Consultative sales skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated and results-driven
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to stay abreast of the industry changes
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure that all client deliverables are met on time.
- Digital proficiency, experience with CRM software and MS Office suite (particularly MS Excel & Word)

Package and Incentives:
- Competitive salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum + attractive OTE commission structure
- 20 days holiday plus public and bank holidays, 1 extra holiday per year of employment – up to a maximum of 25 days.
