Summary

Bridge-Logix UK Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong background in Java Development with expertise in AWS, Salesforce, and Spring Boot frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build and test changes to Java applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Create processes and models, build and implement Java Web Services.
Develop Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
Develop and integrate with RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Utilize AWS services.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

Experience in Java / J2EE, AWS, Salesforce, Spring Boot frameworks, RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
Experience in Salesforce Development and Databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
Extensive knowledge and application of OO concepts and design.
Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with Agile software development methodologies

Duties

Design, build and test changes to Java applications, including installation, configuration, and implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement new features and functionalities.
Create processes and models, build and implement Java Web Services, guide and assist other application teams in product or service utilization, and implement test frameworks.
Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements, Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
Working with integrated applications such as DocuSign, Conga
Develop and integrate with RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB for cloud-based deployments.• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and bug fixing.• Participate in the user story grooming and estimation sessions to refine the product backlog.

Qualifications

Experience in Java / J2EE, AWS, Salesforce, Spring Boot frameworks, RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
Experience in Salesforce Development and Databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript,
Extensive knowledge and application of OO concepts and design.
Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Hands-on design and development experience in database, writing complex SQLs.
Experience with Source Control Systems, automated tests and continuous integration & Deployment (CI & CD) Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services,
Familiarity with Unix (commands and shell scripting)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
Strong problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Certification in Java and Salesforce Platform Developer I is a plus.
