Summary

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Gather business, compliance and technical requirements and translate them into components and controls of a cloud security architecture that improve enterprise security posture.
  • Drive the development and adoption of cloud security standards, best practices, and technologies within Enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Liaise on security-related issues with internal business stakeholders, InfoSec, Enterprise Architecture, and application development squads.
  • Design, implement, administer, and monitor security infrastructure, including Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Privileged Access Management, Network Access Identification, and Control, Data Loss Prevention, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering, AV

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • University degree (Bachelors) OR equivalent experience
  • Cloud agnostic security architecture experience a plus
  • Expertise with more than one of the following areas: API Security, Compliance as Code, Identity and Access Management for Public Cloud, Container Security, Network Security, Infrastructure and Application Security Assessment, Vulnerability Management, Securing Cloud Landing Zones, Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Security Architecture, DevSecOps Practices, Application Security, Penetration Testing, Security Operations
  • Deep hands-on technical expertise in Cyber Security in the following relevant technical areas: large-scale systems engineering, queuing and messaging, AWS/Azure/GCP networking, performance analysis, software-defined networking, etc.
  • Excellent written and communication skills to report, document and communicate security architecture

Duties

  • Gather business, compliance and technical requirements and translate them into components and controls of a cloud security architecture that improve enterprise security posture.
  • Drive the development and adoption of cloud security standards, best practices, and technologies within Enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Liaise on security-related issues with internal business stakeholders, InfoSec, Enterprise Architecture, and application development squads.
  • Design, implement, administer, and monitor security infrastructure, including Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Privileged Access Management, Network Access Identification, and Control, Data Loss Prevention, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering, AV
  • Work to develop, enhance and document security architecture, security policies, patterns, procedures, guidelines, and standards required to design.
  • Experience with enterprise security solution design and implementation skills covering Identity and Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure security (network & endpoint), privacy and data security application security.
  • Experience working with multiple AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform accounts and several VPCs in each account and managing the monitoring of security settings at an enterprise level.
  • Represent Enterprise Architecture in the identification and evaluation of solution alternatives, including the drafting and/or review of strategic RFIs/RFPs and the evaluation of vendor proposals.
  • Support threat modeling and update application security architecture as needed.
  • Support application development squads with Security implementations and issues

Qualifications

  • University degree (Bachelors) OR equivalent experience

  • Support the evaluation of security concerns with new and emerging technologies with particular focus on SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS specifically MS Azure / AWS/GCP.
  • Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, test automation, environment and configuration automation, etc. Related software engineering experience, mobile development, modern frameworks, etc. is required.
  • Knowledge of various platform security tools
  • Knowledge of various network security tools
  • Knowledge of various database security tools (e.g., activity monitoring, encryption etc.)
  • Relevant certifications in Cloud Computing, Security or similar qualifications are a considered an advantage
  • Excellent written and communication skills to report, document and communicate security architecture
  • Excellent coordination skills and must be detail oriented
