FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

Capstone Construction are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join their team. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools, adhering to health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will have proven experience and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and filing holes or imperfections
  • Collaborate with other team members o ensure projects are completed on tie and to client specifications
  • Apply different paint systems to achieve the desired finish
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a good working order, ensuring safety standards are adhered to
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator
  • Comprehensive knowledge of painting techniques, materials and tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high quality workmanship
  • Valid CSCS card is preferred but not essential
  • Valid driving licence preferred
