Summary
FRG is seeking Relief Security Officers to ensure safety and security. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, and monitoring CCTV. The role emphasizes customer service and requires essential skills like SIA licences, experience, and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to buildings at all times
- Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
- Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation
- Access / Egress control
- Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system
- Key Holding responsibilities
- Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks
- Adhering to policies and procedures at all times
- General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.
Core Requirements
- Valid SIA Licences (must haveDS & preferablyCCTV Licence)
- Security experience within a Warehouse setting is preferable
- Must be able to drive (must have own transport due to location of site)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be punctual and reliable
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
- Be comfortable patrolling long distances and be on your feet for extended periods of time
