Summary

The required skills are: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred), strong communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and patient approach, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist client’s with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Support our clients with medication administration, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Promote and support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients through meaningful interactions and activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including observations, incidents, and changes in our clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborate with the care coordinators and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented effectively.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients & staff adhering to health and safety regulations and infection control standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices.
