Summary
An AV Installation Engineer at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Solutions will install AV equipment, maintain customer records, demonstrate equipment, and collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues. The role requires strong AV systems knowledge, customer service skills, and a full clean driving license.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Complete the installation of equipment such as projectors, screens, speakers, amplifiers etc.
- Be responsible for preparing the equipment required for each job;
- Keep accurate up to date records of the onsite installation for our customers;
- Clearly and effectively demonstrate the equipment to our customers and answer any questions appropriately;
- Understand the other services the company offers to make appropriate suggestions to our customers;
- Provide a professional service to our customers to maintain the company’s reputation;
- Collaborate with colleagues in the service team to resolve a range of technical issues, contributing your relevant knowledge and experience.
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- Full clean Drivers Licence
- Strong knowledge of AV systems
- Self-starter with the ability to use own initiative
- Enthusiastic team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of computer software and hardware systems.
