Summary

An excellent opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon is available at Alexander Vets. This role involves overseeing the general running of the practice, clinical work, operating, consulting, and working alongside the Practice Manager and Director. The position offers a 4-day work week with no OOH requirements and is located in Barrow in Furness, near the Lake District.

Head Veterinary Surgeon -Small Animal

Salary up to £80,000 plus Relocation Allowance up to £5000 and Welcome Bonus up to £3000

We have an excellent opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon looking to progress here at Alexander Vets. Day to day duties and responsibilities

Day to day duties would see the successful candidate overseeing the general running of the practice with involvement in clinical work, operating and consulting. You will also work in tandem the Practice Manager and Practice Director. We are looking for someone who will work alongside our experienced vets and give guidance and support within all clinical aspects of practice life.

Hours of work

This is a full-time position, working a 4 day week with 1:4 Saturday mornings only. There are no OOH requirements.

Our practice has all the latest lab, X-ray, laser and Ultrasound equipment.
