FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

This position requires the student to gain a place on one of the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (VN) courses at Greenmount College, Antrim or NWRC, Limavady. These courses are designed to prepare students for careers in veterinary nursing. [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are an Approved Veterinary Training Practice and all TVNs will be employed in the practice when not at college.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Normally five GCSE passes at Grade C or above including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject is the minimum requirement. The Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing course is very demanding and should be considered the equivalent of a University degree. This is why [Employer hidden] will be expecting applicants for the VN course to have GCSE Grade As and Bs or A-level passes.
  • Experience working with animals is favourable so applicants are encouraged to find regular placements with animal shelters and animal charities.
  • Applicants should be at least 16 years or over.
