Summary

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in veterinary medicine, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. We require someone skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions in companion animals, possessing excellent surgical capabilities and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Diagnosing and treating common medical and surgical conditions in companion animals.
  • Performing routine surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries.
  • Effectively communicating with and engaging clients.
  • Collaborating with veterinary staff and working efficiently in a team environment.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working as a veterinarian.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and treating common medical and surgical conditions in companion animals.
  • Strong surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Criteria

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working as a veterinarian.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and treating common medical and surgical conditions in companion animals.
  • Strong surgical skills including routine procedures such as spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and engage clients effectively.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and collaborate with veterinary staff.

Criteria

Desirable Criteria:

  • Additional qualifications or certifications in specialised areas of veterinary medicine (e.g. medicine, orthopaedics).
  • Knowledge of and interest in preventive care and wellness programs.
  • Participation in continuing education programs to stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine.
