Summary

The new Rector will be someone who loves to seek God’s heart, has a heart for God’s people, is a leader who will work collaboratively, encourage work with children and young people, lead on pastoral care and contribute to preaching and leading worship.

Key Responsibilities include: Loving to seek God’s heart through prayer and Scripture, open to the work and gifts of the Holy Spirit, a heart for God’s people and those yet to find faith, work collaboratively with others, encourage and develop work with children and young people, lead on pastoral care of the congregation, contribute to preaching and leading worship.

Core Requirements include: Ordained priest in the Scottish Episcopal Church or other Anglican Communion or other denominations in full communion with the SEC, aligned with an evangelical ethos.

• is an ordained priest in the Scottish Episcopal Church or in other churches of the Anglican Communion or other denominations in full communion with the SEC

• is aligned with our evangelical ethos
