Summary

PHA.accelerate is a program for those seeking experience in PR, social, and digital marketing, working with major brands. This program involves delivering campaigns for clients. Key responsibilities include writing press releases, managing client-facing documents, performing administrative tasks, participating in agency-wide activities, and building relationships.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Start to deliver high-quality coverage for accounts by writing and selling in press releases
  • Proactively ensure client-facing documents are accurate and up-to-date, such as WIP documents, coverage logs, reports, etc.
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently and with high attention to detail, such as compiling media lists, searching for press clippings, and updating databases
  • Where possible, join clients calls, prepare agendas, and accurately document and circulate actions

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • Start to develop upward management skills – communicating successes and flagging issues/challenges to Account Managers at the earliest opportunity
  • Develop a broad understanding of the media landscape, including national newspapers, broadcast channels, relevant trade media outlets, and social media channels
  • Start to proactively build personal relationships with journalists and influencers by networking and setting up meetings
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of sectors relevant to your role, including using research tools, and develop an ability to draft content for clients on subjects related to these sectors
