Summary
A global financial institution is looking for a technically strong lending lawyer with experience across acquisition and leverage finance, direct lending and general syndicated facility agreements. The candidate will be a regional counsel for the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting (in accordance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and based on internal guidance and standard operating procedures) in the documentation, negotiation and execution of lending and loan trading transactions
- Working on group projects and initiatives
- Identifying and advising on related legal issues
Core Requirements
- 5PQE+ with experience of working in a recognized International law firm or international financial institution.
- Experience in the banking practice of an international law firm and/or legal department of an international financial institution.
- Experience of LMA loan documentation including confidentiality agreements, term sheets, mandate letters, inter-creditor agreements, guarantees and security documents as well as LMA secondary loan documentation would be an advantage. Acquisition and leveraged finance experience would also be an advantage
- ability to manage competing priorities, project-manage and co-ordinate large projects, in a dynamic global environment
- Ability to work independently on complex lending transactions, escalating key issues where necessary

The Role
Client
My client is a global financial institution that is looking for a technically strong lending lawyer with experience across acquisition and leverage finance, direct lending and general syndicated facility agreements. You will be an important member of the legal team acting as a regional counsel for the EMEA region.

What are we looking for?
