Summary

Experienced commercial contracts lawyer (5+ PQE, ideally) is needed by a prestigious multinational financial institution. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, especially technology contracts, and advising on their rights and responsibilities. Fluent/native German language skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and interpreting a wide range of commercial contracts, with a heaving weighting towards technology contracts, including; software licensing agreements, outsourcing agreements, SaaS agreements etc.
  • Managing negotiations, and coordinating with the business and other subject matter experts to reach timely and successful execution of agreements. Advising the business on its rights and responsibilities related to those agreements, and ensuring that risk to the business is minimised at all times.
  • Reviewing marketing content to ensure that they are compliance with legal requirements and IP rights.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5+ PQE, ideally
  • Strong background in technology-based commercial contracts
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, whilst demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent / native German language skills

Our client; a prestigious multinational financial institution, is hiring into their International Consumer team for an experienced commercial contracts lawyer (5+ PQE, ideally) on a permanent contract.
