Summary

A leading global technology company seeks a mid-level Privacy Counsel for a 6-month interim contract. The role involves providing privacy advice, supporting new launches, drafting privacy documentation, and managing privacy queries across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pragmatic, independent advice on a range of privacy issues including data sharing, compliance, and incident response
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, policy, and compliance teams to support new launches and regional initiatives
  • Draft and update privacy documentation and operational guidance
  • Manage day-to-day privacy queries and risk assessments across the EMEA region

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Qualified lawyer (England & Wales) with 4-8 yearsโ€™ PQE
  • Strong experience in data privacy within a fast-paced consumer tech, platform, or e-commerce company
  • Capable of operating independently on complex issues, with a collaborative and commercial mindset
  • Warm, confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
