Summary
A highly distinguished multinational financial institution, based in London, is actively hiring for an experienced financial regulatory lawyer (VP-level) to join their high-performing team on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their skillset in a varied role with a market leader in their field.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Providing effective and technically excellent regulatory (primarily) and corporate advice to other line of business stakeholders in EMEA
- Supporting on regulatory reform programs and firm-wide business and strategic initiatives within EMEA
- Advising on regulatory developments and supporting in implementing practical solutions to new financial law and regulation
- Leading on ad hoc projects and/or transactions that may arise, working with various business stakeholders - this will involve significant internal relationship building, as well as managing external counsel in internationally in multiple jurisdictions

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- 5+ PQE (England & Wales), having ideally trained in a well-regarded private practice law firm
- Strong, relevant post-qualification financial regulatory experience gained in-house within a financial services organisation OR in private practice
- Knowledge of ESG regulations (desired, but non-essential)
- Corporate (i.e. restructurings, liquidations etc.) experience (desired, but non-essential)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

The Responsibilities
The role will include (but may not be limited to) the following tasks and responsibilities:
