FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

Provide legal advice on syndicated and bilateral loan transactions across EMEA, draft, negotiate, and review complex LMA loan documentation, liaise with internal teams, syndicate banks, and external counsel. Lead transaction workstreams from structuring through to completion and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and best practice.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal advice on syndicated and bilateral loan transactions across EMEA
    • Draft, negotiate, and review complex LMA loan documentation
    • Liaise with internal teams, syndicate banks, and external counsel
    • Lead transaction workstreams from structuring through to completion
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and best practice
    • Act as a key contact for Loan Capital Markets originators, supporting the business across the deal lifecycle

    Core Requirements:

    • Qualified lawyer (England & Wales) with strong banking and finance experience.
    • Trained at a top-tier law firm, with in-house experience (preferred) at an investment bank.
    • In-depth knowledge of LMA documentation and syndicated loan processes.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to EMEA lending activity.
    • Confident communicator with excellent drafting, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
    • Collaborative and commercially minded, with sound judgement and a proactive mindset
