FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

This role is for a Legal Counsel to advise on terms of service, legal risks, vendor and partner contracts and a wide array of other issues related to monetisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely popular company that is enjoying hyper growth.

  • Contribute to the legal evaluation of new revenue-generating products and features for compliance with UK and EU law;
  • Negotiate and draft contracts with partners and vendors to support the teams forging partnerships that grow revenue
  • Engage strong analytic capabilities and use good judgement to respond at speed and as a business partner to the commercial teams we support;
  • Build cross-team relationships across a highly matrixed organisation;
  • Collaborate closely with the wider EMEA Legal team, particularly on privacy and user (non-monetised) product; and
  • Ask questions of our business teams and distil the information in their responses to identify the legal issues and then deliver clear, precise and pragmatic advice.

Qualified in a UK or EU jurisdiction with 1-3 years PQE who have experience of: Drafting technology templates and terms and conditions; Negotiating commercial agreements with technology vendors; Advising businesses on consumer rights and how they are protected. Exposure to working in a fast-paced in-house legal environment; For the advertising workflows, we are looking for someone with an understanding of the ad tech ecosystem and familiarity with the privacy issues in this space. For the monetisation workflows, we are looking for someone familiar with brand partnerships and the use of virtual items.
