A Top International Law Firm is seeking to hire Lawyers for their Financial Services team in London. The role involves advising on financial services and derivatives matters, with responsibilities including providing strategic advice, supporting corporate transactions, drafting opinions, and advising investors. Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert strategic advice to buy-side clients on all regulatory change projects
- Supporting on corporate transactions involving asset and wealth management
- Drafting netting and collateral enforceability opinions and reviews
- Advising institutional and other significant investors on their find investments
- Drafting or reviewing derivative hedging instruments for financing transactions
Core Requirements
- England & Wales qualified
- Post-qualification experience in-house or a leading law firm
- Strong academic record
- Ability to handle a varying workload and work independently
- Experience in buy-side derivatives, and regulated funds
- Genuine interest in the financial services sector and demonstrable understanding of financial services regulation

Role Overview
Our client, a Top International Law Firm, is looking to hire a number of Lawyers into their Financial Services team.
The highly ranked Financial Markets and Derivatives Practices at this firm span across numerous offices in the EMEA, working closely with specialists to offer clients a cohesive multidisciplinary service, advising on the full range of financial services and derivatives matters.
The firm is looking for a number of Associates at multiple seniority levels (i.e., mid-senior level) with broad financial services experience, either in-house or at a leading law firm, with experience in:
- Hedge Funds,
- Regulated Funds or
- Derivatives.
The successful candidates will be taking on a highly varied role within a collaborative team and considerably broad collective scope of work.
The Responsibilities
The roles will include (but may not be limited to) the following tasks and responsibilities:
