Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of consumer credit and motor finance matters
- Support on legal aspects of new products, commercial strategy, and regulatory obligations
- Advise internal stakeholders, including senior management, with clear and pragmatic legal guidance
- Collaborate with the Head of Legal and wider teams to manage legal risk and ensure compliance
- Contribute to operational and process improvements within a fast-paced business environment
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years’ PQE
- Strong knowledge of consumer credit law and motor finance (essential)
- Previous experience working in-house within financial services or automotive sectors preferred
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness
- Able to hit the ground running – ideally immediately available or on a short notice period

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to support a high-performing legal team with a strong focus on motor finance and consumer credit. The role is available immediately and offers remote flexibility, with occasional travel to offices in South West England.
