Summary
The client, a leading International Law Firm, is looking for a Banking Associate with 4-8 years PQE to join their team in London on a 9-month FTC. The role involves providing high-quality legal services in general banking, managing transactions, providing strategic corporate advice, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and commercial skills, document drafting skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide a high quality legal service to all clients in all aspects of general banking
- Manage transactions from start to finish, including due diligence and structuring exercises, preparing and negotiating key transaction documents and co-ordinating closing
- Provide strategic corporate advice as required and co-ordinate advice from relevant overseas jurisdictions
- Attend and represent the firm at client meetings as required
- Develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining clients’ confidence and that of other professionals
- Contribute to departmental precedents and know-how, including participation in relevant training sessions
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- 4-8 years PQE within a reputable Banking department at a Top 20 UK/City/US firm
- Excellent technical and commercial skills
- Excellent document drafting skills
- Strong writing skills as well as attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity and hunger to learn
- Self-starter
- Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
- Able to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging and broad workload
- Committed to providing an excellent service to our clients

The Client
Our Client is a leading International Law Firm. They are looking for a Banking Associate with 4-8 years PQE to join their team in London.
The client is offering market-leading salary for this position.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to start immediately, but certainly within the next month.
The Role
