Summary

This role involves preparing and analyzing management accounts to support budget holders in decision-making, providing financial insights for business planning, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
- Analyse financial performance and support long-term business planning and forecasting.
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, and support budgeting and cost control initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial results.
- Support tender evaluations with cost analysis and risk assessments.
- Develop cost models and provide financial input during supplier negotiations and contract renewals.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Assist with audits and maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role.
- Strong proficiency in Xero, Excel, and Sage.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

ESSENTIAL

- Experience with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) procedures and reporting.
